Can a Georgia Juvenile Judge order a psychological evaluation?

My daughter broke into a school gymnasium and was placed on probation with a suspended sentence. She violated her sanctions (school suspension and failed drug test) and is now incarcerated. When she is released, the judge is ordering that she is evaluated by a state Psychologist. I already have plans to get her into counseling. I have insurance that will cover the expenses and informed the court prior to this order that I was going to place her in treatment. Is this order legal and why would the court order this?
