Contesting a Annuity?

.My Mother Died and had two annuity's that in 2006 were transferred to the estate but in 2008 she changed them to the red cross and died 8 months later we found out she was very delusional and had severe dementia which could be Alzheimer’s as well just not time to find out during the last few months of her life. The drugs she was on hide allot of the issues. The estate is in bad shape the house cannot not be sold in the condition it is in and make enough to pay the loan off. What options or is there any cases like this we can refer too to help us rake in the monies to help the estate
