Does politics matter anymore? I can see on a micro level, some sequences of events can be slowed, but the whee?

I pray that it does cause if it don't we screwwed. Stock up it could be a rough one.There has been no MAJOR war,or depression in over 50 yrs. Go and talk to your great grand parents and have them tell you what tough really is.
