Do Bengal cats shed less then other normal domestic house cats?

Yes, Bengals do have pelts that is soft as silk. They do shed less then a domestic cat. A Bengal Cat can sit on a couch for a month and leave very few hairs compared to a domestic cat that would leave a chair full of fur within a week. Since allergies are caused by a cat's dander, fur and saliva. it depends on the person. But since the Bengal shed less then a domestic cat, they are less allergenic.
