Taste of home has a good cookbook out and Pillsbury Complete cookbook is excellent also they both use everyday ingredients and are complete with out being too fancy , yet turn out fabulous meals and desserts They can be purchased at Amazon .com and you will also get a great buy there with what you save at Amazon ,perhaps you can give both. EDIT~ she will love both of thesebooks and turn to them time and time again yes amzon is the place to go for the best buy on books by the way, I also live in the south
