Can a Georgia Juvenile Judge order a psychological evaluation?

My daughter broke into a school gymnasium and was placed on probation with a suspended sentence. She violated her sanctions (school suspension and failed drug test) and is now incarcerated. When she is released, the judge is ordering that she is evaluated by a state Psychologist. I already have plans to get her into counseling. I have insurance that will cover the expenses and informed the court prior to this order that I was going to place her in treatment. Is this order legal and why would the court order this?

Anyone frustrated with financial aid/student loans?

I am going to graduate school and I'm on financial aid - I get student loans. No, I'm not poor, but I don't have a spare 20K for a year of university...kind of like most people. I'm just really frustrated with it right now. I already have a job on campus to supplement my income and my parents are helping me as well. I don't live an extravagant lifestyle or have expensive hobbies or even go on vacations. But after tuition, university fees and books, I get a little under 8K to live on all year long. That's below the poverty line. And I'm not a single parent or a recovering addict, so I don't qualify for all the free stuff they get for going back to school. It just doesn't seem fair. Maybe I'm missing something because it seems like the system is set up to reward and perpetuate people who aren't responsible. Plus the whole financial aid/student loan situation after graduation seems like indentured servitude. I'm just really frustrated. Anybody else go through this? How did you handle it

Shower pump problems?

just fitted a stuart turner pump as per instructions, on a mixer shower.the pump is a single connected via hot water, the cold is fed by gravity from the tank in the loft, heres the problem when the shower is set at the right temp to shower it pulses on then off, if i turn it to red hot the pump works fine, when i turn it down to cold it cuts out, the pump will not run at the right temp to shower, so i took the shower head off and turned the shower on, got it to the right temp it worked fine until you put the shower head back on, it starts pulsing, off i went to b and q and bought a new shower head for power showers still the same, please help its doin my head in now, thanks pete

Candy, your heart is definitely in the right place. Consider having a talk with step-mom, pointing out to her that while she may want to hurt her soon-to-be-ex, she's doing more damage to the kids. Presumably he will have visitation rights. If she makes it difficult then he will fight over child support payments. This becomes an endless circle with both sides fighting, continuously. And the kids certainly don't become winners. If she wants to fight your dad, let her but when she uses the kids as a battering ram she is really hurting them. Ask her to consider that if she is nice with the kids and works with them she will wind up with more child support and a much easier time when it comes to being flexible on visitation matters. Every visitation order I've ever seen needs to be adjusted and modified as personal schedules, work, other romances and vacations interfere. Court's prefer the parties to agree on scheduling rather than have them come into court (and pay money to the attorneys) every time there is an issue about whether dad's company changed his vacation schedule and now he needs two weeks in July instead of in August and mom wants to take the kids out of the state and neither wants to let the other do a damn thing. Big fights over the kids and the kids suffer. And the parents also suffer. So really try to work with step mom on this. Good luck.

I know what you mean, and it comes from being around them all the time. Being around anyone too much can make anyone feel frustrated. Trust me, I've been there. You haven't said how old you are, but if you're old enough, maybe you can get a job. You won't be home all the time around them, so after a while you'll start to feel less annoyed by them. If you can't get a job, maybe you could at least stay with a friend? Or go hang out with friends most of the day if you can. Just get out of the house and eventually you'll start to miss being home.

SO. Maybe a year ago i was sitting in my favorite bakery place and was thinking about numbers and patterns and all that fun stuff. I started going on this one thought that if you start with a number.... "x" (x-1) + (x+1) = 2x. So, (4-1) + (4+1) = 8. It works every time! Wich computer would run sims 3 good?

I would go with the dell. It has a good graphics card, and great processor, great ram. The Best Buy one doesn't even have the required processor speed. The Future shop one just meets requirements, but the dell one is faster than the required processor speed, double the required ram, meets the video card requirements (which can be upgraded when checking out). And Dell's are exceptionally good. I have a Dell with 2.0ghz processor, 1gb of ram, everything basic. And it runs World of Warcraft, and the Sims one and two with no lagging. I am curious as to what's going on with Hannah and why "I" thinks drinking is so impure, and what she found out, what is over. Something felt off, though, and I think it might be that "I" goes through these actions kind of robotically. I would insert more of his emotions and reactions into this encounter. Surely Hannah's actions are throwing him for a loop, but it doesn't completely throw the reader for a loop because I, for one, did not feel completely connected to "I." Perhaps it's just because it's such a short segment. You've got the use of strong verbs and succulent adjectives going, for sure.

We always cc the rogues opener, so we can all spread out and get some distance on him before we start going all out on him. For years now this has been bugging me. She is an incredibly miserable human being. From the moment I met her I felt that she has needed psycho therapy. Her temper is that of a 4-year-old child, she's a pathological liar, an adulteress, a child abuser, and has "whipped" my brother beyond belief. I thought he was stronger than that. She guilted him into the relationship in the first place and pretended to be pregnant to get him to marry her. On top of all of this, she treats my mother like crap and when anyone says a word she threatens that no one will see my brother or her kids again. She dresses like a complete hoe at family events (which is outright disrespect of my dad) and usually ruins them with one of her temper tantrums. I am finally standing up and refusing to deal with her bs anymore. Enough is enough already! This is hurting my whole family. The only reason anyone in my family has dealt with her for so long is so that they don't have to deal with even more temper tantrums and degrading behavior. So, there are kids involved and she is even talking bad about me to her oldest kid (how adult is that?) The family rejoiced when she said she won't be at the holidays this year, but what about next year? I wish my family would quit being spineless and let her know that she has behaved unacceptably. Instead, they just say it behind her back. I think she needs to hear it all. I have never had such a hatred for one human being in all my life. First off, this is long but please, someone answer. Ok there's this girl who started working where I do (fast food job). She started maybe 2-3 months ago. Ok I live in college apts. and my fan quit working so a maintenance guy came and put a new one in, right after that my room didnt feel the same anymore, things quit working...i came home one day turned my lightswitch on and it flipped the breaker so i knew something wasnt right...my lcd and cable box were messing up badly too...turns out when i got another guy over here we found out that when he installed the new fan he crossed a wire which made the plug switch bad that i had the cable box in..therefore the hdmi cable i had running from my box to lcd melted that hdmi port on my lcd..there was a huge charge coming from the cable box because it was in that outlet that was bad, the rubber on the coax cable split open. The tv hasnt really worked the same anymore and im out an hdmi port and hdmi cord. The apt. is claiming there is nothing they can do because i dont have renters insurance. My question is, I thought renters insurance protected against things like natural disasters and things that couldnt have been prevented. This could have been prevented if the maintenance guy would have been able to do his job correctly. What should i do and am i just screwed out of a 1000$ lcd? Thanks guys.

Our ceiling above our shower fell down this morning and they have still yet to come fix it and there is insulation showing. We constantly find roaches running around. I recently found out that they laid the carper down on a thick layer of dirt because everytime I vac a little section the thing is already full. Our air conditioner has broke twice. And I have fallen down the stairs 3xs hurting my knees because its a metal, tight spiral staircase and some of the step are not secured properly. There are also people the walk by and dig through everyone's trash in the dumpster and no one has done anything about it. How do I leave this sh*t hole without any weight on my shoulders?? Please help me because I can't take the stress of it anymore.

What year is this 390? How many miles are on it? Also, has it been pinging prior to this issue? Also does this motor still have points in the Distributor? There is a very likely possibility that you may have a Warped, bent, or burnt Valve. If timing is correct, and your have made a positive check of everything else. Then the only other solution is the fire is getting out of the hole. If you have a compression tester, I would run a compression check on all the holes and see if there is one that is low or is not holding compression. This will be your problem hole. We had a 72 Buick Le Saber 455 in the Shop about 6 months ago that was exhibiting this same issue. The guy had changed everything out right down to even converting the ignition system over to HEI. With a compression test we discovered the #4 hole had no compression. We used an inspection scope to look in to the cylinder and discovered that the valve was burned. We pulled both heads, did a valve job on the problem cylinder, and the motor runs great now. I really hope this is not your problem as it is a lot of work. But it is a possibility.

How do i close my gerber pocket knife?

Somewhere on it there is something you have to push in order to release the blade locking mechanism. If it's a regular pocket knife and not a multi-tool, there should be a little indentation on the back of the blade side of the handle that you press while carefully applying pressure to the back of the blade to get it to fold back up. On multi-tools, the principle is the same, but there may not be a separate, easily identifiable lever to push. The other attachments in the handle recess have to be pushed in order to release the blade lock. No matter what type you have, there is a piece of steel that must be be pushed in or squeezed in order to fold up the blade. You just have to experiment and carefully apply pressure to the back of the blade. If it's old and rusty or new and stiff, it may take a little more force, but it will eventually get easier and you can always add a drop of oil to the pivot points.

How accurrate is an MRI?

I recently had 2 abnormal CT scans done. I was hospitalized for the first abnormal CT scan so they did an MRI with and w/out dye but the neurologist didnt give any explination and said that im fine & nothing showed up. I was taken back to the hospital a few days later for the same symptoms & they ran another CT scan and found the same small abnormality on my brain cord.. i finally had someone print out a copy of the report and it stated that they think its a lesion.. How accurate are MRI's for detecting this?? They also said in the report that my "lesion" is 6mm big. Im not sure if that could have affected the results.. Please someone help me as this is very frusterating for my family and myself.

Why am i not losing weight by doing these?

I am 16 years old,180 cm tall and 174 lbs and few months ago,I started a diet plan - I would eat breakfast consistin of a cup of coffee/milo and usually a bread.Then I would eat nothing at school from about 7 am to like 5 pm till i go home.When i reached home,I would workout for like 10 - 20 minutes (basically doing continuous jumping jacks for 10 minutes followed by 3 sets of weight lifting ).Then I would take a shower and have my dinner of white rice and some meat.I would eat a loaf or bread afterwards.I didnt eat ANYTHIN at school except drinkin water and i didnt drink soft drinks nor eat chocolate/ice cream this year (last year i drank about 1 can of soft drink a day but this year I only drink like 1 can of soft drink for every 2 - 3 weeks.But I still couldnt lose weight.It have been staying at 174 lbs for these few months.My target is to lose 10 pounds and build muscles.Any suggestions?Thank you for reading :D

Super Smash Bros. Brawl: Problem Reading Disc on Certain Characters?

About 2 years ago, my Brawl game was working perfectly fine. But after a year or so, Brawl would sometimes have a error reading the disc while I'm playing. I figured out its only on certain Characters that it can't read the disc on. Some characters work (EX: Meta Knight, Kirby, Samus) while others will have an error message saying that the Wii cannot read the disc when I try to play as them (EX: Mario, Link, Lucas). Anyone know what the problem is? My disc has very minimal scratches on it so I don't think that's the problem. Thanks for reading!

Ok bear with me on his question, it takes a bit of an explanation. Since the day I started solids with my daughter she has not liked them. She hates all the purees, fruits and veggies alike. How can I stop unwanted potty training advice from mother-in-law?

My husband was adopted at age 11 by his adoptive sister (she is actually his cousin). His adoptive mother is in all essence my mother in law and the grandmother figure to my children ages 2.5 and 1. She has never been married, has never had a boyfriend, and has never had a child of her own. She is in the military and can be very aggressive with her communication and has a tendency to believe she is the expert in ALL areas. I am a stay at home Mom and am quite sick of her making comments that my son (who will be 2.5 in two weeks) is not potty trained. I want to tell her to knock it off without being disrespectful but honestly she takes me even challenging her as disrespectful. I have done many things to encourage the potty training process with my son. We read books about going potty, we watch the Elmo potty DVD together, he watches both his father and myself use the potty, we have talked about being a big boy and wearing big boy underwear, I take him to the potty when I see cues that he needs to go and encourage him with rewards and praise when he does go. He was doing great for a few weeks and now is not interested. When we talk about the potty he always says "no". He also told me he wants to wear a diaper like his baby sister. I have my own strategies for how to deal with this and will never resort to pressuring him. My son knows all the phonetic sounds for each letter, can recognize each letter, and is now starting to even write some of the letters. (she never says a word about this) He just isn't into the potty training thing and until he is over 3 I am not really all that concerned either. How can I get this woman to back off? Fraternity sorority parties?

i think its different for different place.s the 4yr university i went to was horrid with the frat/sor parties. it was a big drunk fest and evryone ended up sleeping with all the other people. Why do men prefer to go hungry rather than learn to cook for themselves?

Even the simplest things, like tea. They'd never make it to themselves, they go around hungry, with martyrs faces, hoping that someone - their mother, their girlfriend, sister, somebody - will arrive and wait on them? Honestly, I knew a man of 48, he divorced from his wife and he did not know how to brew a cup of tea for himself. He took one of these little packed tea packaged open, you know the ones in a little paper pack which you put in a cup and then pour water on? And he could not cut a slice of bread off a loaf! He tore the pieces off. His ex-wife did it for himself, he was scarcely able to put a spoon of sugar from a sugar bowl into his cup. Why do they rather go hungry than concoct some simple (and nowadays they have these half-ready dinners and what not) meal for themselves?

you know wen your hungry, and you get that feeling in the pit of your stomach. well, this is different. i feel as if i need food in my mouth. not in my stomach, in my mouth. its such a wierd feeling, and now, since im in school, it has changed so at 3:00, wen i get home, i immediatly feel as if i need food in my mouth. if i even go near the kitchen i eat. its like my concious is screaming no!! but my bad side isnt even responding, it just makes my body eat. i began to cope with this by drinking water bottles, so i would have something in my mouth, and ciuldnt phsicaly fit food in there. i would just leave it ther, and chug. i would drink at least 3 water bottles a day, and i still do. please, help!!

My friend has been in and out of the hospital for 2 years now with leukemia.
